Point pairs
A single point is a sheet. These four families explain why two points are studied together: back and front, source and connection, mother and child, and the channel's xi point.

Shu and mu
The shu lies on the Bladder line, on the back. The mu lies on the torso, in front. Study them as the same correspondence seen from behind and from the front.

Yuan is the source point of the channel. Luo is the connecting point, often of the partner channel. Study them to see how yin and yang speak to each other.

In the generating cycle, one element feeds the next. The mother-child pair is that step, seen in two channels. It is not a recipe.

Xi points
Xi is the cleft of the channel: a place where the pathway gathers. In class it is memorised as a study point of that meridian, not as a clinical emergency.
