Breathe. Listen to the channel. Follow the Qi.

Yuan-source and luo-connecting points are two classical families worth slow study: first the map, then the table, never an improvised clinical protocol.

Yuan — source

They are studied as educational access to original channel qi. On yin they often coincide with the shu-stream; on yang they are distinct. Study list: LU9, LI4, ST42, SP3, HT7, SI4, BL64, KI3, PC7, TE4, GB40, LR3. Open /dictionary/families/yuan_source, locate each in 3D and note neighbouring meridians.

Luo — connecting

Connects the main channel to its collateral and, in pair theory, to the yin–yang partner (e.g. LU7–LI). Useful for surface–depth circulation study and psycho-emotional themes in educational texts (not as “treatment”). Family: /dictionary/families/luo_connecting — LU7, LI6, ST40, SP4, HT5, SI7, BL58, KI4, PC6, TE5, GB37, LR5.

50-minute session

1) Pick a pair (e.g. LU9 + LU7 or SP3 + SP4). 2) Sheet + 3D landmarks for both. 3) Open the meridian and mark yuan vs luo in your notebook. 4) Compare with a he-sea point on the same channel (e.g. ST36) only as a family contrast. 5) Family quiz — no list of “clinical indications”.
