2. Purpose and nature of the service

Meridiania is an educational study platform on traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), acupuncture, shiatsu and meridian/tsubo maps (including pedagogical systems such as Masunaga and Namikoshi), with a 3D atlas, dictionary, learning tools and an optional LMS campus for schools.

• Content is educational and informational; it is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or a substitute for in-person training or professional healthcare.
• Use of the Site implies acceptance of this Legal notice and the Privacy policy.
• Some features (account, community, campus, practice notes) may require registration and additional terms.

3. Access, users and accounts

Public content is freely accessible, subject to technical limits, maintenance or private areas. Registered users are responsible for the accuracy of data they provide and for safeguarding credentials.

• Fraudulent use, attacks on security, unauthorised bulk extraction of content or data, and any unlawful use or infringement of third-party rights are prohibited.
• Accounts may be suspended or cancelled for serious breach, abuse or risk to other users or the service.
• Community spaces and directories (schools, teachers, therapists, events) are subject to verification, contact opt-in and publication rules.

4. Intellectual and industrial property

Texts, design, software, trademarks, logos, interface, selection and arrangement of content, and original Meridiania materials are owned by Jaume Domenech or third-party licensors and protected by IP law.

• No licence is granted beyond what is needed to browse and use the service for its educational purpose.
• Unauthorised reproduction, distribution, public communication or transformation is prohibited, except within legal limits.
• WHO point codes, traditional nomenclature and academic references are used for teaching; mention does not imply official affiliation.

5. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Site is provided “as is”, with reasonable technical care. Without limitation:

• Uninterrupted availability, freedom from errors or fitness for clinical use are not guaranteed.
• Users are responsible for their study and practice decisions; Meridiania does not replace professional judgement or supervised training.
• We are not liable for misuse of content, third-party links, or information published by users or schools under their own responsibility.
• Practice/patient notes stored by a user remain private to their account and are not used for indexing or commercial purposes by the provider.

This clause applies to the extent permitted by mandatory consumer-protection law.

6. Links and third-party services

The Site may link to external sites or services. They have their own terms and policies; Meridiania does not control or assume their content.

Personal-data processing is governed by the Privacy policy (GDPR / Spanish LOPDGDD) on the Site. Cookies and similar technologies are described there and in the consent banner.

9. Governing law and venue

This notice is governed by Spanish law. Disputes are submitted to the competent courts under Spanish law, without prejudice to mandatory consumer venues.
