Both schools are studied in shiatsu and they do not describe the same gesture. Meridiania keeps them on separate layers on purpose.
Namikoshi
Tokujiro Namikoshi systematised a tsubo chart and whole-body pressure sequences. A tsubo may coincide with a WHO point and may not. Do not write ST36 on a Namikoshi zone without saying which map you mean.
Masunaga
Shizuto Masunaga extended the channels beyond the classical line and taught reading the whole meridian in the hara, with kyo and jitsu as qualities of attention. That is not a diagnosis.
The TCM layer
The WHO channel, the numbered point and the cun stay on their map. When you change school, change it out loud and in the atlas: one layer per session.

Questions
- Is a tsubo an acupuncture point?
- Sometimes it coincides and sometimes it belongs to the Namikoshi or Masunaga map. Meridiania does not merge them into one clinical sheet.
- Which guide comes before hara?
- Kyo and jitsu. Then, if you want the hourly cycle, the meridian clock.
Study reference within traditional Shiatsu/TCM frameworks. Does not diagnose or treat.
